Ducati launches Multistrada 950 in India at Rs 12.6 lakh

Ducati developed the Multistrada 950 based on the success of the bigger sibling - the Multistrada 1200. The 950 comes powered by a 937cc twin-cylinder Testastretta mill mated to a six-speed gearbox. This motor churns out 113bhp of power at 9,000rpm and 96.2Nm of torque at 7,750rpm. The new motorcycle gets four riding modes (Touring, Sport, Urban and Enduro). The manufacturer claims that 80 per cent of the torque is available between 3,500 to 9,500rpm.

The Ducati Multistrada 950 is brought to India as a CBU through the Thailand route. It is significantly cheaper than the Multistrada 1200 which costs Rs 14.85 lakh. The new 950 competes with the Triumph Tiger family, the Aprilia Dorsoduro 900 and the Kawasaki Versys 1000 in our country.
