      DSK Motorwheels to set-up manufacturing plant in India with an investment of Rs 300 crore

      DSK Motorwheels, an arm of DSK Group, is planning to invest a sum of Rs 300 crore in the Indian market to set-up a new manufacturing plant in the country. The company plans to manufacture the of 'Hysoung GT250R' model in the Indian market, in order to achieve a grater localization content in the production of this bike in the country.

      Having a turnover of over Rs 4,000 crore, the DSK Group is a highly diversified group with operating in a number of sectors like automobiles, education, real estate, digital products, and pharmacy.

      Speaking to the reporters on the sidelines of the launch of new GT250R in India, Mr. Shirish Kulkarni, Director of DSK Motorwheels said, "We plan to invest Rs 300 crore to set up a new plant with an aim to localize the production of our newly launched bike Hysoung GT250R.” He added, "We hope to start the production in next 18 months, which will significantly reduce the cost of production of the bike."

      The company will be selling its newly launched GT250R model in the Indian market through their 18 dealerships spread across the country.
