DSK Hyosung, the well known joint venture between India-based DSK Motowheels and Korean bike maker Hyosung, has successfully completed their first year in the performance bike segment of the Indian two-wheeler market. Interestingly, both the auto makers have strictly worked on their strategies and expansion plans throughout the year, which were specially altered for the Indian auto market.
Speaking on this occasion, the Chairman of DSK Hyosung, Shirish Kulkarni was quoted as saying, “DSK Motowheels is honoured to be associated with Hyosung in India. The first year was a great start, which has further encouraged us to perform so that the track is maintained. The future continues to look bright and we are confident that the brand will further strengthen its position as a major player in the super biking industry.”
The models offered by DSK Hyosung are equipped with some of the enticing engine line-up, ranging from 250 cc to 700 cc, with tremendous amount of power and torque. It must be noted that the auto maker has been planning to mark a pan India presence with over 26 dealerships in the country before the end of 2013. Interestingly, the DSK Hyosung has effectively delivered more than 1200 bikes in the major parts of India during the fiscal 2013. Along with some of the major cities, the auto maker has offered its super bikes in Tier II cities like Dimapur, Ludhiana and Raipur. With its presence in Tier II cities, DSK Hyosung happens to be the only super bike company, which has such extensive dealer base.
