Bentley has released teaser image of its first ever SUV which is slated to launch in 2016. Bentley claims this SUV to be high on luxury quotient unlike other premium segment SUVs and feels that with its new SUV it will create a new segment. Coming from the stables of Bentley, the SUV is expected to come with a hefty price tag, probably the most expensive SUV in luxury segment. Bentley is said to be proffering its upcoming SUV in four, five and seven seat configuration. In 2012, Bentley had exhibited EXP 9F SUV concept which received criticism, the new SUV was supposed to be conceived on the same concept, however it is believed that it has no resemblance with the EXP 9 SUV Concept.

Powering the monster will be a V8 W12, powertrain belting out an astounding 575 Bhp, the robust mill is likely to be synchronized to a automatic transmission. By 2017, a petrol-electric hybrid variant may also be rolled out. Besides the V8 W12 engine, a 6.0 litre W12 motor will also be offered on the under development SUV. Speculations suggest that Bentley might also get a diesel version of the SUV.
