Renault has developed the engine for this car. Avanti is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol mill, capable of generating 250 bhp at the rate of 5500 rpm. The maximum torque output of the car is 340 Nm and varies from 2750 to 5000 rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels using a six-speed manual transmission.

The car has a kerb weight of 1500 kilograms, which makes it astonishingly quick. It sprints from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 6 seconds according to the company. 330 mm ventilated frontal disc brakes and 295 mm rear ones put reins on the car. ABS has been added as a standard feature. DC is all set to unleash this car in the market. It has already sold out the first batch, which comprised 500 cars.
