The all new Chevrolet Beat LPG with the SMARTECH engine is headed its way to the showrooms this Friday. The company website has been updated with the details of the new car that will have, along with the newly developed engine, a sequential LPG kit. The kit is equipped with new injection technology that rules out problems faced in the conventional LPG kits.
The 1.2 L SMARTECH engine renders fuel efficiency of 13.29 kmpl with LPG as its fuel whilst maintaining the lower NVH level and high responsiveness attributes of a petrol engine. A fuel range of 1000 kms adds brownie points to the car. Moreover, the power offered by the new avatar of Beat LPG is 80.4 PS@6400rpm while the maximum torque comes out to be 104Nm@4400rpm.
Some of the advantages of the new Beat LPG include less weight, no loss of power, corrosion resistance. Furthermore, the LPG kit has been placed intelligently under the bonnet instead of keeping it in the boot space that would have otherwise unnecessarily occupied space meant for luggage. Last but not the least, the driver can switch to petrol from LPG and vice versa without any jerks.
Chevrolet takes the cake with its 3 years or 45000 kms cashless maintenance which is offered in the Beat LPG as well.
