The design seems to have undergone major changes as compared to the previous version. Beginning from the interiors, the dashboard has a neat and curvy feel to it. Old unappealing steering wheel has been upgraded to a three-spoke wheel that is complimented with silver accents. The newer version has been blessed with adequate amount of chrome on speedometer, tachometer, braking lever, air conditioner controller knobs. Being an economically priced sedan from the American car-maker, the sedan does not feature any sort of control switches embedded onto the steering wheel. The interiors features better space and carries an upmarket feel as compared to its previous version. The vehicle had been heavily camouflaged during tests and hence exterior details in a descriptive nature cannot be given as of now. But it is anticipated that the car may carry smooth flowing contours as seen with many of the modern day machines.

American car-maker Chevrolet has preferred being tight lipped about the specification and details about the car. It is anticipated that the Sail sedan may be unveiled during the Beijing Auto show that is due to begin this month. It is also assumed that the engine in face-lifted sedan shall be mated to an automated manual transmission. For now, there has been no official announcement stating the launch of face-lift Sail sedan for the Indian market, but India being a valued marked for the American car-maker Chevrolet, it is expected that it may be launched for the local markets too.
