Chevrolet India will update three cars and introduce two new models in the span of the next 24 months. The revamp of their lineup in India, however will not include the Spin MPV, which was originally scheduled to launch by mid-2017.
Chevy will soon update the Trailblazer SUV in India with the facelift, which is already launched introduced in Thailand. This will be followed by the Beat facelift in 2017 and with the new Beat Activ crossover, based on the concept shown at the Auto Expo 2016.
The Essentia will be the first all-new product to be introduced by Chevy in the coming months. The sub-four metre sedan based on the Beat will sit below the Maruti Dzire, Hyundai Xcent and others in competition with the upcoming Tata Kite 5 sedan. This will then be followed by the launch of the next-generation Cruze in the D-Segment, which is already available in the US and European markets.
