In the compact MUV category, Chevrolet Enjoy would be pitched against the market leader Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. Both vehicles are very similar to each other, in terms of looks and features. On one hand, the internal space of the Enjoy is more than that of the Ertiga and on the other, the vast Maruti service network will play a huge role in generating a positive ownership experience for the Ertiga. However, now General Motors also comes with a 3 year or a 1,00,000 km warranty, which makes maintaining its cars a hassle-free experience.

A long wheelbase of 2720 mm in the Enjoy has helped in liberating a lot of internal space for the passengers. With a seating space for 7-8 passengers and two powerful engines to choose from, it will meet the travelling needs of the average Indian family. Other vehicles that are also present in the compact UV category are the Renault Duster, Mahindra Quanto and the Premier Rio. Among these, the Quanto, Duster and Rio fall in the compact Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) segment, while the Ertiga is a compact MUV. Mahindra Xylo and Nissan Evalia are full sized MUVs that are selling in the Indian automotive market.

General Motors India has brought the Enjoy to the country by rebranding the same vehicle which is also being built in China as Wuling Hong guang. It was last showcased at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo, where it generated positive responses from the audience. At that time, the name 'Enjoy' had not been coined. With a competitive price and class-leading features, the Enjoy is sure going to provide Indians an enjoyable travelling experience.
