A heavily camouflaged version of the next generation Volkswagen Vento has been spotted doing the rounds in Brazil. It is expected to arrive by the end of this year and will be underpinned by the German automaker’s A0 platform that will spawn a variety of models like the new Polo and Ameo.
This camouflaged car appears to have become wider and longer indicating that it will be larger than the current model. This also means it is also expected to get a longer wheelbase and thereby a larger cabin. We can also a slightly modified C-pillar as well as LED tail lamps.
The Polo and all its design variations are crucial models for VWs Indian arm as they will spearhead the automaker’s volumes push for the sub-continent. The increase in size of the car indicates that the automaker wants to move it up a notch to separate from the Ameo and the Polo. We will get the next generation Polo first and this will be followed by the Vento a few months later.
