German automaker BMW had recently launched the new X1 in the international market. This time around sources have spotted a seven-seater version of the compact crossover that may possibly be launched sometime next year. The one spotted on test sported new bumpers, redone tail-lights and headlamps along with a slightly taller roof design.
The BMW X1 seven seater trim may be powered by the same petrol and diesel engine options. For now it is believed that the German automaker may offer it only in front wheel drive option, whereas at a later date it could be offered in four-wheel drive option too. Sources have also revealed that the company has also started testing for the X2 that would probably be built on the UKL platform and carry a sleeker style as seen on the X6 and X4. More details about the vehicle shall be known in the coming days.
