The BMW M6 Gran Coupe has been the news for quite a while now. The car has finally been unveiled at the 2014 Auto Expo event. The 4-door coupe is one of the finest sports cars. The car is expected to be sold here through the CBU route.
The coupe is powered by 4.4-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine that generates an impressive 560 HP with 500 Ps of torque output. The powerful engine is expected to be mated to a seven speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission or six speed manual transmission.
Technologically the company intends to take a giant leap ahead. While speaking about recent developments, BMW Group, President for India, Philipp von Sahr said, “The intelligent plug-in hybrid system in the BMW i8 combines the benefits of an electric motor and a petrol engine into an extraordinary driving experience: highest efficiency and maximum dynamics are simultaneously possible. With BMW eDrive, the new BMW drive technology, the battery can be charged from any mains socket or while driving.”
The interiors are elegant and comfortable. The front seats come with multiple adjustment options and the rear seats carry the generation old trend for comfort and luxury. The iDrive interface has been retained in M6 Gran Coupe as well. The car is an astonishing feat achieved by the German car-maker and driving at high speed is like a regular routine for this car.
