BMW, the Germany based luxury automaker, has announced to organise a special event to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the bestselling second generation compact executive car, BMW 3 Series. The BMW 3 Series Club will make a grand showcase of over 50 models at Munich, which will be open for public from 14th to 19th June 2012.

The scintillating part of the event will be conducted on 16th June 2012, where the public has been invited to have a glance of the participants’ 50 plus BMW models parked outside the grand BMW Museum on Petuelring between 1.00 p.m to 5 p.m and the visitors can talk with the Club members in a quest of acquiring greater knowledge about their preferred models.

Moreover, the company has revealed that around 100 participants will get an opportunity to take the rounds of the BMW collection at BMW Group Classic, a highly restricted place, where in the morning the 3 Series models will be parked.

The first generation of the compact saloon was launched by BMW back in 1982, which was a big success with huge sales and exhilarating demand. Since then, the dynamic design and technological aesthetics has ranked the automaker as a futuristic car maker.

Recently, the premium car maker launched the sixth generation of the 3 series, termed as BMW 3 Series (F30), which will be offered in North America with a four cylinder engine for the first time. This next gen 3 Series is the first to introduce the new BMW guise with flat headlamps touching the BMW kidney grille.
