The interiors of the 2014 BMW 4-Series Coupe form its key USP. Some of the most prominent features include alcantara dashboard, carbon fibre gear shift lever, alcantara gaiter in hand brake lever, M Performance floor mats and an alcantara steering wheel with race display. Coming to the specifications, the 420D model of M4 Coupe comes fitted with a 4-cylinder 2-litre turbocharged diesel engine. The inclusion of M Performance package has increased the output by 16 bhp and torque by 39 Nm. On the other hand, the output and torque of the 428i variant, equipped with a 2-litre petrol engine, has been increased to 269 bhp and 389 Nm, respectively.

The BMW 435i, most powerful of the lot, has a 6-cylinder 3-litre turbocharged engine. This car is capable of churning out 336 bhp and torque of up to a staggering 450 Nm. The increase in the power output and torque can be attributed to the new exhaust systems, along with software tweaks. The M Performance catalogue comes with an optional limited slip-differential that is likely to be a clutch-type unit, which has 30 per cent lock up.

BMW has been involved in an aggressive promotion of the 4-Series car. The German luxury car maker suggests that this series is one of the sportiest models designed by the firm. Along with this, the company claims that there will be 50-50 distribution between the rear and front weights. For improving the agility of the car, tuning has been done to the springs, camber angle, axle responses and dampers. Heated leather seats, 6.5-inch colour screen and the trademark iDrive controller are expected to be standard features of the 4 Series from BMW.
