      Bike Festival of India flags off National Safety Ride

      Bike Festival of India has been long associated to promote the safety aspects of driving on the road. Recently, National Safety Ride of this event was initiated in the capital of India, New Delhi. It was flagged off by the renowned cricketer and an avid bike enthusiast, Ishant Sharma. This is an initiative of the Bike Festival of India, which will be held for the first time at the Buddh International Circuit on the 4th and 5th of October in the current year.

      The skipper of the Indian cricket team and one of the most avid bikers in the country, Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the brand ambassador of the Bike Festival of India;this event gives an opportunity to all the bike enthusiasts around the country to take part in this event. This will give them a unique platform to take part in this adventure as well as to promote the importance of road safety for the upcoming and budding biking enthusiasts of the nation.

      The National Safety Ride of the Bike Festival of India will witness three female bike riders and six male riders on Triumph bikes, which is the official bike partner of the National Safety Ride. This will be an attempt to promote the necessity of safe biking throughout the country. The riders will cover a total distance of approximately 8100 kilometres, which will comprise a trip to popular cities like Delhi, Ahmedabad, Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin, Hyderabad, Chandigarh ad Kolkata. At all these cities, the riders will meet bikers and promote the importance of road safety.

      Arun Pandey, the CMD of Rhiti Sports spoke out on this topic. He said, “31st August is a very important day for us as it is our National flag day and the BFI National Safety Ride is a tribute to our flag. Through BFI National Safety Ride we aim at strengthening the biking culture in India, and most importantly safe biking and use of helmets as it can save your life. The youth of our country form an integral part of the biking community and play a crucial role in spreading the awareness on abiding the safety norms”.
