Bentley Continental has launched its latest super luxury car model Continental Supersports in India priced at Rs. 2.25 crores (ex-showroom). The model is so far the fastest and the most powerful model launched by the British car maker in India.
Bentley had announced about two months back that it intends to bring two new models in the country this year. The new Continental Super Sports come as a part of its marketing strategy to introduce super luxury sports cars in India. The model will be sold by Exclusive Motors pan India who are the official importers and dealers for Bentley in the country.
"Being the fastest and most powerful Bentley, the coupe is sure to excite the speed lovers in India," Exclusive Motors Pvt Ltd Managing Director Satya Bagla said in a statement.
Bentley Continental Supersports is fitted with Quickshift transmission that halves the shift time enabling the car to accelerate from zero to 100 kilometre per hour in just 3.7 seconds. It is capable of attaining top speed of 329 kmph. Continental Supersports is a two-seater coupe that was first introduced in 1925. All its models are hand-crafted at Crewe (UK).
