Globally popular ultra-luxury car manufacturer Bentley aims to challenge the famous Pikes Peak with the Bentayga. The ultra-luxury SUV will showcase its potential as it muscles its way up the legendary mountain.
Bentley recently announced that in june 2018, it is all set to conjure up a specially prepped Bentayga to take on Pikes Peak. While all the details aren't out yet, expect the SUV to be powered by the mammoth 600bhp W12 engine. Also the SUV's all-wheel-drive and air suspension, complete with an active-roll system, will help deliver better results.
But Bentley isn't just attempting to climb the mountain. In fact it has all the intentions to break some records while at it. The brand aims to complete the course, which is comprised of 156 turns, quicker than any SUV that has come before it.
We expect the SUV to lose much of its luxury in a bid to save weight and gain a roll cage too, but more on that should be revealed closer to the attempt in June. Whether it manages to break records or not we can’t wait to see this mammoth SUV GO ballistic at Pikes Peak.
