In terms of exterior dimensions, the LaFerrari, Veneno and P1 super cars are of roughly the same size and look straight out of a future science fiction movie. The LaFerrari or the 'Enzo successor' has a unique Ferrari design language with an unparalleled head turning ability. The red painted Ferrari can take on any sports car in the world and is actually a hyper hybrid model with a combination of a petrol engine and electric motor powering its wheels. The company claims its LaFerrari to be fastest street-legal super car in the world. LaFerrari's most captivating feature is the extensive use of carbon fibre composites that helped it in cutting down the net body weight.

Speaking of under-the-hood specifications of the LaFerrari, the super car comes fitted with a V12 6.2 litre petrol powertrain coupled to a electric motor. The combined petrol engine electric power-mill assembly pumps out a mind blowing total power output of 963 bhp. Hence, the LaFerrari is one of the meanest Ferrari models ever and comes with an exorbitant price tag of £ 1.6 million. The LaFerrari accelerates 0 to 100 kmph in less than 3 seconds and can reach top speed in excess of 350 kmph.

The Lamborghini Veneno is an out-and-out super sports car, of which only three models will ever be sold. The Italian maker has claimed that it has designed its Veneno with a huge focus on optimising its aerodynamic efficiency. Likewise, the Veneno has the basic Lamborghini super car DNA and shares its elder sibling Aventador's platform and engine. Accordingly, the super car is powered with a retuned 6.5 litre V12 powertrain, can be found under-the-hood of Aventador. The tweaked Veneno's V12 motor generates 50 bhp more power output at 750 bhp. The stunning Veneno zooms past 100 kmph mark in just 2.8 seconds from a stand still and has its top speed recorded at 355.55 kmph.

The McLaren P1 is another hyper hybrid super sports car unveiled at this year's Geneva Motor Show. The futuristic model is powered with a Twin-Turbo 3.8 litre V8 engine and an electric motor, both of which churns out a combined peak power output of 903 bhp. The Twin-Turbo V8 rolls out a maximum power output close to 757 bhp, whereas the electric motor contributes an extra 176 bhp. The McLaren P1 can reach a top speed of 350 kmph.
