Bajaj Auto, a key player in the Indian two-wheeler segment had recently released a teaser motorcycle video that would be utilizing metal from the decommissioned India’s first flyer aircraft named INS Vikrant. Sources believe that the upcoming bike would be named as ‘Valor’. Speaking more on the occasion, Mr. Eric Vas, President (Motorcycle Business), Bajaj Auto, was quoted as saying, “We are confident that the bike will carry the spirit and legacy of INS Vikrant forward and become one of the most path-breaking motorcycles that customers will witness this year.”

The Bajaj Valor would probably carry the 150cc engine from the Discover to generate a decent 14bhp of power and 12.75 Nm of torque. The engine would come mated to 5-speed manual transmission. As seen in the teaser video, the bike gets a café-racer-inspired style complete with disc brake for front, 5-twin-spoke alloy wheels, twin shocks for rear and telescopic front forks. The bike would also carry a special logo that highlights its association with INS Vikrant. Sometime at a later date the company may also introduce a 125cc variant.
