      Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 - Factors that make it distinctively ahead, launched for Rs. 1.3 Lakhs

      Country's popular bike-maker Bajaj Auto has finally launched the much awaited Pulsar RS 200 in the domestic market at a starting price tag of about Rs. 1.18 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi), whereas the ABS trim is offered at a price tag of Rs. 1.3 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Powered by a 199.5cc liquid-cooled engine and mated to a six-speed gearbox the vehicle is capable of generating about 24.4 PS of power at 9,500 rpm and a peak torque of 18.6 Nm at 8,000 rpm. The bike is capable of attaining a top speed of about 141 km/hr.

      The all new Bajaj Pulsar RS 200 sports an all-new design. The front fascia sports a full fairing design with a windscreen that blends well with the twin projector headlamps with LED pilot lamps. The bike also gets LED turn indicators. The clip-in handlebar has a raised stance that ensures a comfortable seating position for high speed as well as city rides. The muscular cut fuel tank gets a fuel carrying capacity of about 12 litres. Whereas for the rear section the bike comes equipped with a twin-pod LED tail lights. As for dynamics, the Pulsar RS 200 sports bike measures 2,060mm length, 750mm width and 1,160mm height. The bike also gets a high ground clearance of about 165mm. Deliveries for the bike would begin next month and interested customers can book one with a token amount of about Rs. 5,000.
