K Shrinivas, President of domestic business unit for Bajaj Motorcycles, has called it quits nearly after 15 years of service in the company. As per sources, he has decided to move-on to a non-automotive company in the country. His position shall be taken oven by Eric Vas who has been heading the Bajaj Auto Finance division.

S Ravikumar, president, Business Development and Assurance at Bajaj Auto, said, “He did create an energetic team to execute our strategy. It's true that the competitive pressure was quite tough, which coupled with falling economy led to the fall in our market share, but with new Discover models, we are gaining market share again. Its unfortunate that he is not part of the recovery”. Reason behind the switch is still unknown. Some have linked the change to a fall in market share for the company.
