      Auto Expo 2016: Nissan showcases the X-Trail and GT-R

      Nissan is looking at adding the new X-Trail and the GT-R in the Indian car market. The X-Trail is the new-generation that is built on the CMF C/D platform and this ones an hybrid. The Nissan X-Trail will be assembled in the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s Chennai facility. The X-Trail has a 2.0-litre diesel engine and this comes with an electric motor too, which makes it a hybrid. The X-Trail will be launched in India, however Nissan hasn’t shared any time frame for the same. The Japanese automaker will be pricing the new X-Trail below the Fortuner. This new SUV is a highly able off-roader and the one that will be launched in India will be an all-wheel drive version and there is also likely to be a front wheel drive too.

      The GT-R will be launched in India this September. This is one of the fastest Nissan that is ever made. The pricing of this performance vehicle will be in excess of Rs 1 crore and this will make it an expensive affair.
