In 2012, India will host Asia’s biggest auto show at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. Car enthusiasts from all parts of the world are fervently waiting for the show to begin, either to buy their dream cars or see the same in-person. The event will witness 32 car launches, out of which 8 will be international.
Volkswagen, the German automobile giant will come up with everybody’s dream car, the New Beetle. The new model looks similar to its classic version, though it is longer and wider than its predecessor. To give the car a stylish roofline, its height has been trimmed slightly by 12mm.
Skoda’s new sedan MissionL, inspired from the VisionD concept, is another dream car of 2012 for which car aficionados are waiting eagerly. In September, the concept was showcased at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The car will change its look according to the market in which it will be sold. Thus, in Indian market it will come in the four-door form. People are also waiting for Peugeot’s luxury sedan, the 508, with bated breath.
Cars from Italian auto manufacturer Ferrari, such as 458 Italia, 599 GTB Fiorano, California and FF, are the dream vehicles of people who want to own supercars. Panamera from Porsche, a four-seater supercar, is another dream car of 2012.
Audi and BMW are everyone’s dream cars, as these define luxury and style. People are waiting eagerly for Audi Q3 SUV and S6 sedan, which will be displayed at Auto Expo 2012. On BMW’s stall, BMW 1 series and BMW 3 series are the highly awaited dream cars of 2012. Car fanatics are also looking forward to the Chevrolet Camaro and the 289 PS Cruze WTCC Cup from General Motors’ side.
