      Audi Sportscar Experience (ASE) kicks off in Mumbai from April 19, bookings open

      Audi India, a completely owned subsidiary of German luxury automotive marque, is all set to enthral domestic audience with its unique driving program called ‘Audi Sportscar Experience (ASE) 2013.’ The one-of-a-kind event will be organised in as many as 14 Indian cities, starting from Mumbai on April 19 and will go on till April 21, 2013.

      The Audi Sportscar Experience has already been successfully flagged off at the Buddh International Circuit (BIC), Greater Noida and Chennai’s MMRT race track. The unique concept is aimed giving high performance car aficionados an opportunity to learn, experience and drive the world class Audi super cars, such as the new R8, S4, RS5 and TT. Participation in the 2012 ASE event is strictly limited and slots are needed to be booked well in advance. The interested candidates can visit their nearest Audi dealerships, in order to enrol for the program.       Expressing his views on the 2013 Audi Sportscar Experience program, Michael Perschke, Head of the Indian arm of Audi, was quoted as saying, “Audi enthusiasts across the country are soon going to get a taste of thrill and exhilaration with the Audi sportscar experience. The program focuses on superlative driving techniques and handling techniques in sportscars under tutelage. Now, for the first time in India, Audi is bringing such a unique format to Mumbai as part of a multi-city program. This shows how important this market is, and how valued our customers and fans are to Audi. I am confident of more and more people signing up for the ASE.”

      The Indian arm of Audi has opened retail outlets in South Mumbai and Lucknow, so far in the 2013 calendar year. Last year, the German luxury auto maker had opened new dealerships in Raipur, Kanpur, Navi Mumbai, Goa, Coimbatore, Delhi West, Bhopal and Nagpur.

      At present, Audi India’s product model range comprises luxury sedans like A4, A6, A7 Sportback and A8L, along with utility vehicles, such as Q3, Q5 and Q7. Further, the German auto maker’s sportscar line-up includes the likes of S4, RS5 Coupé, TT Coupé, along with R8, R8 Spyder and R8 V10 super cars. The company has a pan-Indian presence with stores in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Chennai, Delhi West, Delhi South, Goa, Gurgaon, Indore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Kochi, Lucknow, Ludhiana, Mumbai South, Mumbai West, Navi Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune, Raipur and Surat.
