Audi, a well-known name in the automotive industry, is one of the luxury car brands that enjoys a reputed name and fame in the society. But sometimes, even the greatest of the greats may commit some mistakes. A similar issue has come up with Audi A4 series due to which, they have called back approximately 8,50,000 cars throughout the world in order to rectify the problem.

The authorities have issued a worldwide recall of the A4 series cars including sedans, wagons and all-road models to rectify the software glitch. This software glitch leads to the failure of the deployment of front airbags in the scenario of an accident. The authorities at Audi say that the correction of the problem is just a 3 minute task. All they have to do is update the software of A4, which would simply eliminate this problem.

The defect in this Audi version was detected during an internal inspection. The authorities say that as soon as the problem was discovered, a recall was issued in which, all the models were asked to be taken to nearest Audi centre for the rectification of this problem. They also said that this problem is with the cars produced in the span from 2012 to 2014. Audi informed the journalists about the sale of the cars made during that duration in which, 2,50,000 units were built for the Chinese market and another whooping 1,50,000 for the German markets. Audi authorities along with requesting to spread the news as far as possible, also asked the Indian Audi A4 owners to reach the nearest dealer to get an update!
