Audi will launch its latest model Q5 in India in June to give more competition to its rival companies. It had recently launched A6 at very competitive price of Rs 36 lakhs and is already in the top gear to become the number one luxury car brand in India. BMW has surpassed Mercedes sales figures in India to bag the top position in the market. With the launch of Q5 in the Indian market, it intends to take the competition head-on with the two popular luxury brands.
Audi Q5 will compete directly with BMW X3 in India. It is expected that the new Q5 will be cheaper by few lakhs to compete with its BMW rival. This small SUV is in line with its bigger model Q7 and the industry experts expect that it will take away customers of luxury saloons like Mercedes E- Class and BMW 5 series.
Audi will launch Q5 on June 4th and the base model will be priced at Rs. 37.5 lakh. The top end model will cost up to Rs. 45 lakh that will come loaded with extra options.
