The new Audi Q3 gets a fresh face with a redesigned bumper, but carries the signature hexagonal chrome grille up front. The earlier headlamps with LED daytime-running have been retained, but the upgraded car now also gets all-LED headlamps now as a standard across the range. The profile remains the same as the earlier Q3 and is defined by the prominent shoulder-line and the flared wheel arches. The tail design is again signature Audi. The Q3 now gets panoramic sunroof and 17 inch alloy wheels as a standard.

As for the interior, the vehicle now gets front seats with electric adjustment as standard, along with deluxe 2 Zone automatic air conditioner. The cabin is upholstered in leather and along with a 4-spoke multifunction steering wheel. It also gets ambient lighting for that premium feel along with walnut brown highlights on the dashboard and door trims. The infotainment system now includes a display screen with Bluetooth connectivity. For purposes of safety, the carmaker has included an engine immobiliser, six airbags and an electronic stability program that works along with the ABS, EBD and traction control systems.

The Q3 petrol is powered by a 1.4-litre turbo-charged four cylinder engine. The 1.4-litre TFSI engine debuted with the all-new Audi A4 and is now being offered across all entry-level Audi cars. It develops 150bhp of power and 250Nm of torque and comes mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox that drives the front wheels. The Q3 also comes with a 2.0-litre diesel engine variant which is offered with a 150bhp front-wheel drive setup and the 180bhp all-wheel drive setup, mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox.

The Audi Q3 competes with the Mercedes GLA, the Volvo V40 Cross Country and the BMW X1 amongst entry-level luxury SUVs.
