Audi India inaugurated a new showroom in the ‘City of Lakes’, Udaipur. This is the company’s second showroom in Rajasthan; Audi has a showroom in Rajasthan’s capital, Jaipur. Audi Udaipur will have all the models for sale from Audi India’s portfolio. Located on the Ahmedabad road, the new facility is built in a vast area of 10,000 sqft including the display area and workshop. An exquisite in-house Audi shop is also included where customers can get Audi merchandise.
There are three bays and a reception in the workshop, a body shop and a paint shop is also there. Five cars can be serviced at the workshop, technicians work in single shift only. Luxury car segment is growing rapidly in India and Audi seems aggressive in its strategy to hold a huge share in premium car segment. Audi recently toppled BMW in the luxury car segment, the company eyes at maintaining its sales momentum. Besides adding new products to its India line-up, the company is also contemplating to induct inventive initiatives to connect with the customers. Audi is the only luxury German car brand that has two dealerships in Rajasthan. The company has 36 showrooms scattered across India which it plans to increase to 40 by end of 2014.
