The Audi A3 TDI Attraction has been an entry level trim from the German automaker in India. As per fresh update, Audi has discontinued the A3 Attraction variant while the rest of the higher variants will continue to be on sale.

The Audi A3 TDI comes with 1968cc, four-cylinder engine mated to 6-speed S tronic that generates 141bhp of power and 320Nm of torque. Interested customers will now have to opt for Premium and higher variants. Though there is no technical upgrades, the feature list for each variant varies. Given nearly about a pricing difference of about Rs 3 lakh, the Premium variant additionally offers automatic climate control, cruise control, automatic headlamps and leather and fabric combined upholstery. In terms of safety, the vehicle comes loaded with all safety features like ABS with EBS, BA, ESP, traction control system, hill hold control, 6-airbags and child seat anchor points.

Generally, the base variants don’t find many takers, which is the possible reason behind the omission of the variant from the line-up. The Premium trim is substantially more expensive in comparison, but for those looking at an entry-level luxury sedan, this is still the cheapest option in the market.
