The German luxury carmaker, Audi has announced its line-up of cars to be showcased at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo 2014. The company will display its much anticipated A3 sedan, recently launched RS7, R8 V10 Plus Spyder, R18 e-tron Quattro and SQ5.
Audi has been testing the entry level luxury saloon A3 for quite a long time now, and the vehicle will finally make its debut at the Delhi Motor Show, next month. It will join Audi's sedans range and is expected to be the company's cheapest offering in the country. Measuring 4456mm in length, the sedan looks quite similar to A4 and offers a spacious and high quality cabin. The A3 sedan will be made available in both petrol and diesel guise. While the petrol version is expected to get the 1.8-litre turbocharged engine, the oil burner will house 2.0-litre engine.
The recently launched performance oriented Audi RS7 will also be on display. It is powered by a 4.0-litre TFSI twin-turbo V8 engine that produces a massive 553bhp and is priced at Rs. 1.29 crore (ex-showroom, Mumbai). Audi's two more mean-machines- R8 V10 Plus Spyder and R18 e-tron Quattro will also be displayed at the event. One more vehicle for which everyone is waiting, the SQ5 too will share stage with other Audi vehicles. The sporty version of the Q5 SUV, the SQ5 will be powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine that develops 313bhp.
