Aston Martin Vanquish S Ultimate is a swan-song to the current generation Vanquish. Limited to just 175 units, the Ultimate model is based on the hardcore S variant of the Vanquish and can be had in the Coupe or the Volante (Convertible) body style

Aston Martin reveals the final Vanquish S Ultimate series

The Ultimate edition is powered by Aston Martin’s naturally-aspirated 6.0-litre V12 breathing out 595bhp. The eight-speed Touchtronic III automatic transmission can send the GT to a 100kmph from standstill in 3.5seconds and a top speed of 325kmph. It also sits on three-stage adaptive damping and comes with carbon ceramic brakes and carbonfibre exterior trim.

Distinct to the Ultimate edition is a choice of three exterior paint schemes. These bespoke Designer Themes for the Ultimate models come with a special matching interior. The first theme is called Contrasting Carbon; it mixes Ultimate Black paintwork with Copper Bronze accents outside and Obsidian Black leather with Kestral Tan accents inside. The second theme is Sport Line, which paints the car Zenon Grey and adds Cobalt Blue graphics, with yellow and blue accents contrasting Phantom Grey leather inside. The Modern Lux is the third theme which uses White Gold paintwork with bronze graphics outside, with Chesnut Tan leather and black accents inside.

Irrespective of the theme, there are extra details that are also unique to the Vanquish S Ultimate. These include the carbon fibre side strakes with rose gold 'Ultimate' decals, bespoke stitching, and carbon fibre tread plates, along with 'Ultimate' headrest embroidery and sill plaques. In addition to the Designer Themes, customers can choose to combine any exterior scheme and interior package.

Priced at 211,995 pounds, the Vanquish S Ultimate Coupe, and 223,995 pounds for the Volante, the Ultimate models cost just 12,045 pounds more than the regular S equivalents. The Gaydon-based carmaker has started taking bookings for the Ultimate series with deliveries promised in the first-quarter of 2018.
