      Ashok Leyland bags an order of 120Cr from a logistic company Rivigio

      Indian truck manufacturer, Ashok Leyland has bagged an order of Rs. 120 crore from Rivigo – a logistic company. The order is for 500 fully-built vehicles driven by the iEGR (Intelligent Exhaust Gas Recirculation). The technology is indigenously developed by Ashok Leyland to achieve BS-IV emission norms. The technology iEGR was launched early this year in April 2017, for engines which develop up to 400bhp - a technology that no other OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) has achieved globally.

Today, our BS-IV iEGR vehicles are giving up to 10% better fuel economy when compared to our BS-III range. This is helping all our customers improve their total cost of operations by up to 15%, translating to improved profits.”
