Driving to your destination without your favorite music playing in background can get boring at times. To solve this problem, technology giant Apple had launched CarPlay, an integrated display system that was anounced earlier this year, now enables your iPhone device to connect to a compatible touchscreen-enabled head unit.
Once connected, the head unit displays an iOS that has been designed by Apple itself. The device also comes with a Siri support. The best part about this feature is that head unit does not need an update to get CarPlay-compatible apps, this means that users can install the program on their iPhone and it shall directly appear on the head unit everytime both the devices are connected.
The Apple CarPlay works fine with iPhone 5 or higher models that come with Lightning connector. You also have the liberty to check voice mails as the head unit merely displays the options whereas the iPhone controls the device. Be it, native apps, Phone, Music, Maps or Messages, the device serves all your needs.
