      Apollo Intensa Emozione revealed

The Apollo Intensa Emozione is an intense looking track-only toy for the ultra-rich. Why?

      Apollo Concept

Becuase as the name suggests, it is meant to invoke ‘intense emotion’. And, when you look at it and subsequently drive it too, there is no denying that such a thing will be inevitable. Every single angle that you look at the car from is full of wind tunnel designed aerodynamic lines meant to channel precious downforce around or over the car.

The face is almost alien like thanks to the slit head lamps and massively flared wheel arches that hunker above those huge tracks spec Michelins. In profile, you can see the cab forward design which is a common feature of the GT race cars. It is here that you can see how close the front splitter is to the ground. There is a sense of space age when you look at the rear owing to so many elements, colours and fancy LED lights. The rear also features the engine whose gold pipes are visible through a glass covering.

Because attention is the key here, the entire cabin has been painted in red with many swathes of carbon fibre to add to the sporty appearance. You get three digital displays and F1 style steering wheel with many buttons on them.

However (and this is a big one!), the most exciting bit about this track devoted space craft is that it is powered by a 6.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine producing 769bhp and 760Nm and all this from a car weighing under 1500kgs. The consequence is a 0-100kmph range in 2.7 seconds, top speed of 334kmph and 1350kgs of downforce when the car is at speed.
