Anand Mahindra, the chairman and managing director for Mahindra Group, is the new proud owner of a customized TUV300 compact SUV in Olive Green shade. Sharing pictures on his social network platform, he tweeted, “The team FINALLY delivered me my TUV! They did so with a warm ceremony, to make up for bumping me back in the queue!”. Later another tweet read, “The problem is that knowing the owner doesn't help in this company...In fact it's often a disadvantage!”.
The top-end-spec TUV300 opted by Anand Mahindra comes with features like Electronic BrakeForce Distribution (EBD), Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Dual Airbags and engine immobilizer. Inside, the compact SUV comes with dual-tone Black and Beige interior scheme multi-information display on chrome bezel surrounded instrument panel, multi-function steering wheel with Bluetooth telephony and controls for audio. The parking brake lever and power window switch has been placed at the rear side of the centre console.
On the exterior, the customized Mahindra TUV300 gets a new Body Kit featuring side cladding, rear and front stone guards, fat wheel arches and front bumper extensions. The vehicle also gets something like a Bonnet Hull. Under the hood, it continues to be powered by the regular 1.5-litre 3-cylinder turbo diesel engine that generates about 80bhp and 230Nm of torque. The vehicle comes with an AMT transmission.
