Skoda India had launched its MySkoda mobile application in October 2016. Recently, the carmaker announced an updated version 2.0 with new features.
The latest version is now updated with new features and a better-looking interface. The new parking assistance feature helps the customers locate their parked cars. The car's service history can be found through a service-tracking feature, while a service appointment can also be booked. Users can also save their car's information including details of insurance, warranty and extended warranty as well. Additionally, users can now get access to DriveTribe (an online automotive community) through the app.
Furthermore, there is a 'Trip Cost Calculator' to keep track of the various expenses including fuel costs. The accessories section allows existing owners to look out for authorised Skoda accessories. Then, there is a customer care section too, from where owners can log their complaints.
As one can find information about the entire Skoda line-up of cars in India, this app is not only helpful for existing Skoda customers, but prospective buyers as well. Let's hope this single-window interface between the company and its customers proves to be beneficial to enthusiasts and potential customers as well.
