Maruti Suzuki India has unveiled the 2015 Swift Dzire facelift in the Indian market with a price range of 5.07 lakhs – 7.81 lakhs INR. The deliveries are expected to commence from now onwards, while the pre-orders had begun almost a week ago.
The exteriors has been updated, which is displayed by a new monochrome slat grille, fog lamps with chrome inserts, revised bumpers, smoked head lamps as well as new alloy wheels. Similar to the facelifted Swift, the Dzire also gets an engine start-stop button, updated music system, electrically adjustable folding mirrors, rear power socket as well as reverse parking sensors. There are no major updates apart from these, but definitely the new model is more attractive than the phased out one.
The most interesting feature, which has been added to the car, is the change in efficiency. The mills have been kept the same – 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel – the car has been tuned for better mileage. The diesel car produces 74 bhp and 190 Nm while the petrol model produces 83 bhp and 115 Nm. The mileage of the diesel model is 26.59 kilometres per litre while the petrol model returns 20.85 kilometres for a litre.
