      As seen in the pictures, a camouflaged Acura RDX was spotted testing in Michigan, USA and this iteration reveals more updates than the earlier prototype that was shot in August.

      Acura has had a presence in the US market since 1986 and is the luxury vehicle arm of Japanese carmaker Honda. This sighting of the Acura RDX highlights a redesigned grille, front bumper, mirrors, headlamps and tail lamps, plus a set of exhausts at the corners of the rear bumper.

      Sources suggest that the upcoming Acura RDX will drop the current car’s V6 motor for the Accord’s 2.0-litre turbocharged motor which uses an eight-speed dual clutch transmission. Since Acura’s hybrid lineup is expanding at the moment, it is probable that the RDX may also get a hybrid powerplant sooner or later.

      Acura’s RDX currently outsells all the other cars from the brand’s lineup, and is a vital car for them in the US market. Reports speculate that the new generation Acura RDX may roll into showrooms in the last quarter of 2017 or the first quarter of 2018. Stay tuned.
