Amidst the continuously intensifying impasse between workers and management at Maruti Suzuki’s Manesar plant, the company has decided to restart the production of compact car A-Star and mid-size sedan SX4 within a week’s time. The company is looking forward to normalize the production even as stand-off continues at the plant.

In a statement given on Wednesday, the company said, "After exceeding the normal production levels for Swift model yesterday, the company is planning to start production of SX4 and A-star models at Manesar plant. The production of these models is likely to start in a week's time."
