      The lost in crowd SUV from Hyundai is set for a fresh start. The new Hyundai Santa Fe with a face-lift version has just been unveiled at the 2014 Auto Expo event to revive its market share. As per reports, the new version imbibes a Fluidic-derived Storm edge design philosophy. The SUV shall be powered by the same 2.2 litre diesel engine that produces an impressive 194 bhp with a torque output of 436 Nm. Two-wheel drive/Four-wheel drive pattern shall be available with an option to choose from Automatic transmission or Manual Transmission. The interiors in the Santa Fe is stated to be based on fluidic design. It features a GPS device, leather seats, sunroof and a convenient start-stop system for the engine. Legroom for the rear seats have also been worked upon and can seat up to three people with ease. The interiors look elegant with generous use of beige.

      Renault Duster has always been in the news since it inception in the country a while ago. The SUV was an instant hit owing to its quality build and reliability that was offered at a lucrative price tag. Off late many other car-makers have attempted to tap this compact SUV segment with much vigor. Gone are the days when Renault Duster had to compete with Ford Ecosport. This year with planned launched for highly anticipated cars like Honda Vezel and XA Alpha, its time for Duster to come out with a twist. As per sources, the new car is expected to be powered with 1.6 litre engine that generates about 105 Hp at 5,750 rpm and produces a maximum torque of 148 Nm at 3,750 rpm. It is also said that the car may feature double optic headlamps with LED daytime running lights, and a redesigned front grill with new air intake system. On the interiors, seats have been redesigned for better comfort and the dashboard features a smarter appeal.

      As per sources, the Indian car manufacturer Mahindra plans to unveil its face-lifted version of Scorpio sometime in the middle of 2014. The changes are expected to be purely cosmetic in nature and the engine shall be retained with the existing line of 2.2 litre M-Hawk turbo diesel engine. It is anticipated that the power and torque figures could be increased from 120 bhp and 290 Nm of torque to 140 bhp and 330 Nm of torque.
