2018 Mercedes-Benz C-Class test mule image has surfaced ahead of its official launch at the Geneva Motor show which is due to be held in March 2018. The new model will get fresh interior and exterior design upgrades. The C-Class has been a popular selling model for the German car manufacturer and the new model will further strengthen its competition against the likes of the 3-Series from BMW, Audi A4 and the Volvo S60.

Under the hood, the new model is expected to get a new 2.0-litre diesel engine as a replacement to the current 2.1-litre which currently serves the C220d and C250d. The new C-Class will continue to be powered by existing engine options - 2.0-litre turbo-petrol mill which generates 180bhp of power in the entry-level C200 variant and a 2.0-litre four-cylinder motor that generates 241bhp of power. The new model will get new LED headlamps which shares some resemblance with the E-Class. Moreover, the vehicle also gets revised bumper with new air intake and a sloping grille design. Based on what can be seen, the rear bumper gets chrome touches and the side skirts.

As for the interior, the vehicle will get an updated infotainment system, redesigned dashboard, a new steering wheel and mild changes to the dashboard design. The vehicle will continue to be offered with wide array of safety equipments like multiple airbags, ABS with EBD and cruise control.
