Ahead of its official unveiling at the 2018 Auto Expo event in India, the new Isuzu D-Max V-Cross has been spotted at a dealership in the country. Mechanically, the vehicle is expected to continue being powered in existing engine options. However, changes will be limited to cosmetic and feature upgrades. This time around, the company might add a new top-spec variant as well.

As seen in images, the upcoming D-Max V-Cross will get a redesigned tailgate and chrome inserts on the bumper. The top-spec version will also get LED graphics on the taillights. The front fascia remains unchanged for now. As for the interior, the new D-Max V-Cross will get a seven-inch infotainment system as standard along with an all-black leather upholstery and a 6-way powered driver seat. In terms of safety, the top-spec 2018 V-Cross is expected to be offered with ESC, dual-front airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist and TCS.

Mechanically, the vehicle is expected to continue being powered by a 2.5-litre diesel engine which generates 132hp of power and 320Nm of torque. For India, the engine is limited to a five-speed manual, while in international markets six-speed automatic transmission is offered as optional. More details about the 2018 Isuzu D-Max V-Cross will be known in the days to come.
