The Time Attack 1 NSX will be driven by James and has undergone weight reduction along with a custom high-flow racing exhaust being added to boost performance. The Time Attack 2 car that will be driven by Nick is a production car with the required safety modifications to meet the safety regulations of the race. James has raced the earlier NSX at the Pikes Peak from 2012 while Nick is the reigning PP250 category winner at the Pikes Peak.

Known as the ‘Race to the Clouds’ the Pikes Peak hill climb race is one of the oldest motorsport events held around the world and draws participation from across the globe. The Acura NSX runs a twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine mated to a nine-speed dual clutch transmission powering the rear wheels through a direct-drive motor. The front wheels are powered by a twin-motor unit which features the world’s first electrically powered torque vectoring capability applied in supercars.
