Ahead of its official debut tomorrow, the feature and variant list for the 2017 Nissan Terrano has been leaked. It will be offered across variants and two engine options.

Firstly, the feature list has now been expanded to include a touchscreen infotainment system, steering mounted audio controls as well as cruise control. Also included in this update is a new cabin colour which sees the upholstery move from black and beige to a slightly premium looking brown and beige.

Externally there appear to be no major changes to the curvy Renault body and straight Nissan face when the car was launched in 2014. As is the case with the current model, the XE and XL diesel make use of the 1.5-litre mill in the 84bhp output while the XV D and XV D AMT are in the 108bhp with the latter being the only one that is offered with the AMT option. The petrol is a 1.6-litre unit and can be had with a five-speed manual.

We believe that Nissan will marginally hike the prices of the SUV as it cannot afford to make a jump with the costs due to the already high pricing of the vehicle. The Terrano competes with the likes of the Renault Duster, Hyundai Creta, Mahindra Scorpio and most of the C-segment sedans.
