      2017 Nissan GT-R set for India launch on November 9

      The Nissan GT-R is one of the most sought after vehicles for car enthusiasts across the globe. Reports indicate that the new model is set for its India debut on November 9. Dealers have already started accepting the pre-booking amount of Rs 25 lakh for the GT-R. Post launch it will compete against the likes of Porsche 911 Turbo and Audi R8V10 in India.

      Under the hood, the upcoming Nissan GT-R will be powered by a 3.8-litre, V6, twin-turbocharged engine that generates 562bhp and develops 637Nm of peak torque. Mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox, the vehicle impresses with 0-100kmph in less than three seconds. The front gets a new V-motion grille that offers it a sportier stance. The upcoming car will be offered in shades of katsura orange, vibrant red, pearl black, pearl white, racing blue, gun metallic and ultimate silver.

      As for the interior, it comes with the instrument panel wrapped in Nappa leather and a new front seat design. The car gets new multifunction display and a redesigned paddle shifter. The leather used in the car matches with the exterior colour. Though the pricing aspect is not known for now, it is expected to be priced over Rs 1.5 crore (Ex-showroom, Delhi).

      Edit: We now have an official confirmation that the Nissan GT-R will be launched for the Indian market on December 2.
