Kawasaki has launched the new Z250 in India at Rs 3.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It features a revised BS IV-compliant engine and new paint scheme.
The Kawasaki Z250 is a quarter-litre streetfighter which draws influence from the middleweight Z800. With an upright riding position, the bike is good for city riding as well as for touring. The Z250 is powered by a 249cc fuel-injected parallel-twin engine which has been updated to meet BS IV emission norms. This liquid-cooled engine develops 32bhp and 21Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Cosmetic update includes a new paint scheme and racy decals.
The Kawasaki Z250 is sold in India as a completely knocked down (CKD) model. It rival the Benelli TNT 300 and the KTM 390 Duke.
