The Mercedes-Benz EQA hatchback has been revealed at the 2017 Frankfurt Auto Show. It’s the blueprint for what will be the first affordable electric vehicle when Mercedes goes in full strength with its EQ electric brand.

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its EQA concept at Frankfurt 2017. It’s a new budget electric hatchback from the German automaker and points to a direction which they will take to undergo an intense electrification process in their lineup.

The car gets a low slung, clean design with a forward sloping silhouette almost giving them impression of a mini shooting brake. There is the distinctive avant-garde style grille which changes colour as per the driving mode and a blue hue all around creating aura around the vehicle.

It gets two electric motors which have a combined output of 268bhp/500Nm of torque and has a range of 400km. its gets the option for inductive charging and on a fast charge of 10 minutes can give you a range of 100km.

It is an exciting time to be an electric car enthusiast and that too with Mercedes-Benz creating such concepts. The EQ concept is expected to reach production sometime in the next five years.
