Mechanically, the 2017 Audi Q7 40 TFSI petrol will be powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine that generates 249bhp of power and 370Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission which powers all four-wheels. The vehicle will also offer driver aids in the form of an electronic stability program with different driving modes to suit different driver needs. The current diesel version is powered by a 3.0-litre that generates 272bhp and 600Nm of torque.

The 2017 Audi Q7 petrol continues to get that muscular stance with a flat bonnet, Matrix LED headlamps and a single-frame grille. Although the pricing aspect remains unknown for now, it is likely to be priced at around Rs 75 lakhs (ex-showroom). Post launch, the vehicle will compete against the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLS, BMW X5 and the Land Rover Discovery.
