The 2016 Superb offers an impressive luggage carrying capacity of 625-litres (about 60-litres more than the previous model), which can be increased by up to 1,760-litres by folding the rear seats.

The 2016 Skoda Superb saloon will be offered in both petrol and diesel fuel options. While the oil burner is a 2.0-litre unit that is good for 170bhp, the petrol version is the 1.8-litre turbo petrol engine that churns out a maximum power output of 177bhp. Both engines will be paired to the current DSG automatic gearbox.

The official sketches of the new generation Skoda Super reveals the company’s new design philosophy. The front fascia gets new butterfly-shaped grille, flanked by a set of larger headlamps. The large bonnet has sharp creases, which add to its aggressive appeal. Inside the cabin, the sedan largely resembles the VW’s new B8 Passat.
