As per an official update from sources, Ford shall launch the 2016 Endeavour on 20th this month, instead of 19th that was believed earlier. The Endeavour brand has been quite popular in the Indian market and with the third generation due for launch soon, the automaker can additionally expect good sales this year. The pricing aspect is not out for now and it is anticipated to be offered around Rs 25 lakh range.
The 2016 Ford Endeavour would be offered with two engine options – 2.2-litre four-cylinder engine mated to six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox that would generate about 158bhp of power. The 3.2-litre engine five-cylinder engine that has been mated to six-speed automatic gearbox and generates about 197bhp of power. The smaller engine would offer an optional 4WD system, while the bigger offers 4WD as standard.
The upcoming next-gen SUV shall be offered in interesting shades of Golden Bronze, Sunset Red, Moondust Silver, Diamond White, Smoke Grey and Panther Black. As for safety, it would be offered with front parking sensors, seven airbags, LED taillamps, LED daytime-running lamps and tyre pressure monitoring system. Apart from this, the vehicle would also be loaded with cruise control, Eight-way power adjustable front seats and Ford SYNC Infotainment system with CD/MP3 player with Bluetooth and AUX.
